Desert Bloom

Desert Bloom is a one-of-a-kind 41 × 41 inch handmade cotton quilt built around a bold radiating star. Teal, orange, blush pink, black, cream and mustard create a lively geometric composition, with repeating chevrons and small diamond shapes framing the center. Broad curved machine quilting adds texture across the piecing without overpowering the design, and the bright orange reverse gives the quilt a completely different look when folded or turned over.

This is a compact quilt that works well as a lap quilt, reading-chair accent, nursery accent, or quilted wall display. It is the exact finished quilt shown in the photos — not a stock image and not a made-to-order reproduction.

CARE

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors and tumble dry low. Because this quilt is sold unwashed and is made entirely from cotton, some shrinkage is expected after the first wash. Washing and drying will also create the soft, lightly crinkled texture associated with cotton quilts.

Please note that monitor and phone screens can display colors differently. Small variations in stitching and construction are normal characteristics of a handmade quilt.
