Blue Ridge Plaid

Blue Ridge Plaid is a one-of-a-kind 67 × 67 inch handmade cotton throw quilt in blue, cream, pale blue and mustard gold, with touches of tan and very dark navy. Oversized intersecting bands create a woven-plaid effect across the entire quilt, giving it a clean graphic look that reads strongly from across a room while still showing plenty of quilting detail up close.

Large looping and circular machine quilting travels across the plaid, adding texture and movement without competing with the piecing. The reverse is white cotton with a small black printed motif, and a coordinating blue binding finishes the edge.

At 67 inches square, this is a generous couch throw or large lap quilt with enough coverage for everyday use. This is the exact finished quilt shown in the photos — not a stock image and not a made-to-order reproduction.

CARE

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors and tumble dry low. Because this quilt is sold unwashed and is made entirely from cotton, some shrinkage is expected after the first wash. Washing and drying will also create the soft, lightly crinkled texture associated with cotton quilts.

Please note that monitor and phone screens can display colors differently. Small variations in stitching and construction are normal characteristics of a handmade quilt.
